Job description

You are the first point of contact for all IT-related questions from employees (hardware, software, printers, telephony, audiovisual installations or network connections) and resolve them independently via a ticketing system.
You manage IT projects from A to Z (VoIP telephony, SharePoint) or in the case of more complex projects, you provide support in the implementation (NIS2, governance, DRP).
You play a key role in managing our Azure environment, including the management of virtual machines (VMs), Azure firewalls, networks, Azure Active Directory (AAD) and Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune, Entra, Autopilot).
You demonstrate new IT tools, support users with tips and tricks, and keep IT procedures up-to-date.
You organise the IT onboarding for new employees (logins, rights, workstation set-up) and familiarise them with our IT landscape.
You increase IT security awareness by providing feedback on phishing alerts and making employees aware of safe digital working.
You ensure the effectiveness of backups, perform regular tests and keep software up-to-date with a patch management tool.
You provide IT updates through internal communication and feel comfortable presenting IT-related topics in front of groups.
You advise and support the maintenance and expansion of the IT infrastructure, such as networks, servers, printers and telephony.
You work closely with yes fellow IT support engineer as well as the IT manager, to whom you also report.

Key skills and qualifications

You have a bachelor degree in an IT related field or achieve a similar level through experience. You already have experience in an IT support function (min. 2 year).
You have extensive knowledge of Microsoft Azure and current Microsoft products.
You have knowledge of hardware and software at network level (patching, VPN, MFA) and can work with network infrastructure such as DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, routers and switches.
You have a basic knowledge of virtualisation (VMware, HyperV).
You are a pro-active team player and get energy from helping your colleagues.
You are organised, independent and have a critical eye.
You communicate fluently and clearly in Dutch and English (other languages are a plus).
You closely follow new technologies and trends and enjoy learning new things.
