Job description

  • Together with your HR colleagues, you are the first point of contact for our 150 employees and managers at home and abroad for all their HR-related questions. You offer them proactive advice and support.
  • You develop yourself as a true HR generalist whereby your focus within the HR team is on Recruitment and Learning&Development. You support managers in recruiting the right talent and guide candidates through the selection process. You are responsible for the development and growth of our employees, you analyse the training needs and provide training that matches the strategic goals of our organisation.
  • You contribute to the implementation of the HR policy and take the initiative to implement improvements within various HR domains. You participate in projects on well-being, digitalisation and AI, sustainability, employer branding, etc.
  • You build and maintain excellent relationships, both internally and externally. This includes regular contact with employees and managers to understand and address their needs and concerns. You also work with external partners and suppliers to provide the best HR solutions and ensure positive collaboration with all parties involved.
  • You act as back-up within payroll processing for both Belgium and our foreign offices. For this, you work with the local payroll partner (SD Worx or others).
  • You will report directly to the HR Manager and work closely with your colleague HR Business Partner.

Key skills and qualifications

  • You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree and already have initial work experience within an equivalent position.
  • You speak and write fluently in Dutch and English, knowledge of French or other languages is a plus.
  • You work fluently with MS Office, knowledge of eBlox and epowerHR is an asset.
  • You have a thorough knowledge of (Belgian) social legislation.
  • Your core quality is your empathy; you have strong listening skills and you communicate in a connecting way.
  • You are service-minded, proactive and flexible; you can set priorities in a changing and international environment.
  • You have a growth mindset and seize every possible opportunity to develop yourself further.
  • You have a passion for HR and continuously build on your knowledge in the various HR domains.
