Job description

You provide legal advice and support in various files and projects, with a strong focus on contract work. You do this in a pragmatic way and for all departments within Globachem.
You draft or revise contracts and discuss the legal aspects with the internal file manager or with the co-contractor’s lawyer (distribution agreements, cooperation agreements, service agreements, letters of access, supply agreements, NDAs, …).
You monitor the trademark portfolio together with the trademark office. You do limited preliminary searches for new trademark applications and follow up opposition proceedings.
You coordinate insurance issues in cooperation with the insurance brokers.
You look after the insurance policies in cooperation with the insurance brokers.
You continuously keep up to date with changes in relevant legislation (including European legislation, packaging, label requirements) and share your insights with the team.
You support and report to the Group Legal Counsel.

Key skills and qualifications

You have a master’s degree in Law with electives in civil law and economic law and at least 2 years’ experience in a consultancy environment or as a corporate lawyer. Experience within an international context is a plus.
You have experience in contract law, commercial law and commercial law and an interest in M&A and intellectual property.
You speak and write fluently in Dutch and English. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
You communicate and advise clearly and to the point.
You are flexible and enjoy working on several files at the same time.
You are a real team player and have a proactive attitude.
