Supply Chain Coordinator - Transport & Logistics

You will complement our Supply Chain team and ensure that all raw materials, intermediate products and finished products reach their destination in time. To this end, you work closely with colleagues from Product Supply, Customer Service and the Warehouse. You have a wide range of tasks and responsibilities:

A challenging job content

  • You plan and book incoming and outgoing transports
  • You are the central contact within the organization for all logistics questions related to the flow of goods
  • You are in contact with various parties: internal departments, transport companies, customs authorities, suppliers, customers, etc., within and
  • outside Europe
  • You choose the most optimal means of transport to be able to supply our customers in the best way
  • You do research, make proposals and implement improvements in the field of logistics and equipment in order to continuously improve the cost efficiency of distribution
  • You are responsible for import and export documents. You ensure that all documents relating to the goods and the delivery are in order. You are responsible for the administration of the bonded warehouse
  • You follow up on the logistic activities in external warehouses
  • You participate in projects to make our internal processes run more efficiently and to continuously improve customer satisfaction

Profile description

  • A bachelor’s degree in logistics or equivalent through experience is a good starting point. But for this function, your drive, will and interest in transport, customs and logistics are even more important than your background
  • You speak fluent Dutch, French and English. Knowledge of German is a plus
  • You have knowledge of customs and ADR, or are willing to learn this
  • You are a real team player who is always looking for solutions in the field of transport and logistics. You are flexible and can handle tight deadlines. You have a hands-on mentality
  • Planning and administration are your strengths. You work in an orderly, accurate and structured way and you can maintain an overview and set priorities at peak times
  • You are stress resistant and you are assertive when necessary
  • Knowledge of ERP (Microsoft Dynamics) is a plus
