Functieomschrijving
- You conduct on-site sampling of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
- You coordinate with external laboratories to send and analyze product samples.
- You inspect product packaging and labeling at suppliers and toll manufacturers to ensure they match the product manuals.
- You verify that product labels, safety labels, and product information are printed and positioned correctly on the packaging and pallets.
- You conduct inspections of pallet stacking and loading conditions in sea containers to ensure products are shipped in compliance with specified instructions and safety standards.
- You maintain detailed records of sampling, inspections, and QC test results, ensuring full traceability.
- You monitor and verify Certificates of Analysis (COAs) provided by suppliers.
- You collect and manage test methods for all relevant products. You develop test methods with external labs if internal test methods are not available.
- You assist in conducting on-site QA & Sustainability audits.
- You ensure that toll manufacturers implement appropriate preventive actions based on complaint handling outcomes to prevent recurrence and improve quality standards.
- You support continuous improvement initiatives.
- You are part of our local team in Hangzhou and reports to the Supplier Quality Assurance Manager, you work closely with the Quality team at our head office in Belgium.
Belangrijkste vaardigheden en kwalificaties
- You have a bachelor degree in a relevant domain or have experience in a similar function. Knowledge of the agro-chemical industry is a plus but not a must.
- You have strong communication skills in speech and in written; You are native Chinese and speak fluently English.
- You are highly organized and structured, you have a methodological approach and have excellent problem solving skills.
- You combine strong analytical skills with a hands-on and pragmatic approach.
- You like to travel.
- You must be eligible to work in Hangzhou.
